Thomas Grimmonprez Trio

After ‘Big Wheel’, Thomas Grimmonprez continues his journey as drummer and leader in the form of a trio. Keen to reveal a new facet of his sonic identity, he has created a repertoire based around the colour indigo. At first glance, indigo conjures up images of blue tending towards violet, but it's also the name given to sensitive, creative people. Buoyed by these two ideas, Thomas Grimmonprez has composed a series of sound tableaux within which he invites the listener to travel. This new project takes off thanks to the talent of musicians free of any aesthetic dogmatism who have agreed to put their talent at the service of Thomas's compositions. Particularly keen to share their emotions with the public, this new group is developing a surprising sound identity.
