Born in 2023, the trio explores and appropriates different musical traditions, and settles into wide swathes of modal improvisation, at times virtuosic or hypnotic. Most of the compositions are by clarinettist Aurélie Charneux, who has been looking to the East for some time now.
As warm as the snowdrifts of the Taiga, more refreshing than the sub-Saharan torpor, this intercontinental music comes from an imaginary land. Or from a place where sounds can intermingle and dialogue without baggage or passports.
