Roni Kaspi

Roni Kaspi, just 22, has been turning heads since she broke through in 2020 as an international touring drummer with Avishai Cohen.
Roni was mentored at the prestigious Berklee Conservatory by Grammy-winning drum master Terri Lyne Carrington before being thrust into the spotlight last year when fellow Israeli Avishai Cohen signed her to his celebrated trio after hearing her phenomenal drumming in a video posted on Instagram. As incredible as that was (and life-changing), it's just one aspect of the Israeli-born artist's highly diverse and unique musical universe, as she steps into the role of singer-songwriter on drums to lead her own trio.
Roni Kaspi has an ultra-hip, genre-bending vision, daring to blend funky, imaginative "real-time" improvisation with eclectic influences from indie pop, soul, world music and electronica; although there are far more differences than similarities, think Thundercat, Anderson Paak, Louis Cole and Bjork.
