Pascal Mohy / Ben Sluijs Duo

Pascal Mohy and Ben Sluijs have been playing together for many years. Over the years, an intimate dialogue has developed between saxophone and piano. They twirl through a repertoire of original compositions as well as pieces by Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Lennie Tristano, Jackie Mc Lean and many others. Ben Sluys's sinuous lines guide the duo towards an ebullient music, while Pascal Mohy's delicate touch brings them back to a more meditative mood, where the saxophone's heart-rending notes seem to hang in the air.
