Karim Baggili - "Ocho Manos - Volume 1"
Several years have passed since the release of the duology “Apollo You Sixteen” and Karim is delighted to return to the forefront to present a new album.
He is joined by percussionist Etienne Serck, a long-time friend. It’s a collaboration that they have both wanted for a long time, a challenge that drives them and excites them.
This opus is entirely dedicated to the Oud with a privileged place for percussion and rhythms of very diverse influences, Peru, Eastern Europe, Middle East. Compositions full of surprises, fresh and modern, which take us once again into an original and singular universe.
On stage, they will be joined by Youri Nanai, Vivian Ladrière and Karoline de la Serna, Karim's faithful and talented traveling companions. Five musicians with complementary temperaments who will share with you, on stage, all their passion for music.
