Pianist Maël Idris and harmonica player Rutger Mathys met in April 2022. When they first played together, it felt like they had been doing it for years. More so, it felt like they had known each other for years. In addition to their duo work, they started a quartet that won the Dinant Jazz Competition in July 2023. These two young friends seek each other in their music and find ultimate freedom.
