Trio Vladimir Torres

Drawing on a wealth of influences, both from his Uruguayan origins and his musical experience, Vladimir Torres has been involved as a bassist, double bassist, composer and arranger on almost fifty albums. He also composes for dance and theatre.

Vladimir has released three albums under his own name, featuring a unique musical style that places as much emphasis on melodic and harmonic construction and arrangement as it does on improvisation. Each composition is conceived as the illustration of an idea, a feeling or an experience. On his latest album "Brujos" released in 2023, Vladimir takes us on a journey in every sense. In his compositions, he explores a wide range of feelings and sensations, again creating music with influences ranging from world music to pop.

For the concert at the Château du Pont d'Oye, Vladimir will be performing with the trio that recorded his latest album.
