Sold out ! Brussels Jazz Orchestra et Camille Bertault

Under the direction of Koen Maes and with the exceptional participation of French singer Camille Bertault, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra (BJO) decided to pay tribute to Gainsbourg, that sacred monster of French chanson.

For this project, twelve Gainsbourg classics were arranged by the BJO and friends, including hits such as "Je suis venu te dire que je m'en vais" and "Couleur Café".

The orchestra has immersed itself in Gainsbourg's original songs, his unusual personality and the imprint he left on French chanson (starting with a fine knowledge of jazz and its codes). The project also gives pride of place to improvisation and extremely ambitious arrangements.

As part of the Jazz Tour. A collaboration between Le Delta and Les Lundis d'Hortense with the participation of Jazz9

This trio revisits some of the finest standards in jazz history, instrumentally and with all the intimate warmth of a sax-piano-bass formula that leaves plenty of room for the sweetness and subtlety of the sound.
