When jazz is, when jazz is there... “Two three four, one two three four”, counts the singer in his head. Java is going away, java is going away...

From these few measures of Nougaro's song (Jazz and Java) was born the idea of ​​this show, also presented as a "little history of French song with a kinship with Jazz".

Two seasoned and experienced musicians, a singer in love with swing and the French language, it was enough to put this concert together.

The idea is simple, browse some French songs that have influenced Jazz, been inspired by it or pay homage to it. From the essential “Feuilles Mortes” to the “Boite de Jazz”, evoking the Jazz influences of Trenet, Gainsbourg, and even Boris Vian…, all seasoned with a few amusing and all true anecdotes.
