Aleph Quintet is a Brussels-based band. Creating and playing a crossover between Jazz, Groove and Arabic Music.

Prize-winners at the Carthage Days of Music in Tunisia and the Music Press Awards in France, the Aleph Quintet is one of the revelations on the Brussels scene.

Promoted by Igloo Records, the group’s first album “Shapes of Silence” highlights the union of these five musicians, and pays testament to their roots, retracing the years of travel when the quintet united around this type of music.

Without setting any limits and carried by their generosity, North African music blends with jazz improvisation, Gnawa rhythms and Sufi culture.

This first album welcomes two renowned guests from the Belgian jazz scene : Manuel Hermia and Fabrizio Cassol (Aka Moon).
