TREMOR

TREMOR observes the similarities between the micro and the macro sensations and phenomenons through textural work, mixing strings and saxophone extended techniques, live processing, orchestral reminiscences and open melodies, all going through a state of transe. The band creates a large dynamic and emotional range, going from collectively composed pieces to fully improvised sections. 

TREMOR is a sonic translation of the parallelisms and contrasts between the tiniest caresses versus the unpredictability and uncontrollability of natural forces. It brings our attention back to the smallest physical sensations, acknowledging the body's fragility and volatility as an act of resistance against today’s massive destruction of the Earth. It’s acknowledging the pleasure of small and local actions, daily life care and interdependence. TREMOR reminds us how helpless we are against the forces of nature.
