Mathieu Najean Quartet

After two albums of original compositions (“Panorama” 2020, “Outta the blue with you” 2023), and an album of quartet standards, Mathieu Najean begins a new quartet with musicians from the scene Brussels. Around some beautiful melodies of the Great American Song Book and "West Coast" Jazz, these four musicians explore swing and interaction again and again. Seeking to create a sound, without forcing, by pushing listening to the maximum, the quartet focuses on melody, cohesion and swing.
