Les Chanteuses Anonymes

Based in Brussels, the vocal trio “Les Chanteuses Anonymes” brings together Clara Legros, Lydie Thonnard and Anne Bernard. All three are professional musicians, and it was their love of singing that brought them together. Their repertoire is 100% a cappella and their style ranges from world music to jazz via classical music. Guided by their personal musical favourites, they propose original arrangements that highlight their complicity and their respective timbres.

Les Chanteuses Anonymes offer two types of repertoire. The first is devoted to the Christmas period. It can be found on their album “Rendez-vous sous le gui”, released in 2022 under the artistic direction of Els Crommen.

The second is made up mainly of jazz standards, with arrangements that are tailor-made for their three voices. This repertoire will be the subject of their second album, which is scheduled to be recorded in autumn 2025 under the artistic direction of Emily Alison.

Les Chanteuses Anonymes won the Univox competition (BE) in spring 2024. In August of the same year, they had the opportunity to expand their practical experience alongside Steven Connolly at the International A Cappella School in Westonbirt (EN).
