MARIS x Haerens x Lootens

Musician Mariske Broeckmeyer [MARIS] and author Astrid Haerens found each other in their shared love for experimental music, improvisation and jazz. They started a conversation around artistic common ground that has not stopped since. It led to OERHERT, an immersive and intimate listening performance that combines Haerens' poetry debut with Broeckmeyer's music. With the addition of hybrid cellist Jasmijn Lootens, they now dig even deeper into the crossover between poetry, spoken word, performance, sound art and music.
