Bas Bulteel trio is the inspiring collaboration between Bas Bulteel, Bruno Castellucci and Bart de Nolf. The interaction and the way they make music during live concerts formed a common thread for the compositions on “Coming Home” the debut album of this trio, which was awarded the Klara- music prize for best Belgian jazz album of the year 2014. Always melodic with attention to fine harmonies, swing and a wide variety of dynamics. Creating your own sound and identity belong to the DNA of dittrio, with a strong nod to the (bop) tradition.
