This quintet has been created by Manuel Hermia with close friends, just for the pure pleasure of playing some standarts. Since all the projects of the leader are based on personal compositions, there was an appeal to also play standarts in a project centered on jazz from the 50's and the 60's, with a particular attention to soul jazz. With standarts such as Worksong, This here, Scotch and water, as well as a few compositions , the quintet makes us groove, swing, soul... Only happyness!
