Yiasemi

Like a plant slowly growing at the confluence of two streams, YIASEMI was born from the meeting of Julien Marga and Jordi Cassagne.

The music of this unique duo invites the listener to contemplate their own inner universe. Sometimes soothing, sometimes tumultuous, it revives childhood memories by summoning frescoes from a forgotten time that seem to stretch on endlessly.

Their influences include Jakob Bro and Charlie Haden, as well as sounds borrowed from both folk and chamber jazz.

Their debut album, entitled WHEN DAYS ARE YOUNG, will be released in the fall of 2023.
