Jaune Toujours is back, as if they’d never been gone. For over three decades, this Belgian-Brussels-based collective has been serving up a sizzling mix of groove, brass and accordion. The energy of a rock band without guitars? It’s possible.
Because when you throw the joy of improvisation from a jazz combo, an open mind and the charisma of street musicians into the mix, with a touch of that typical Brussels sense of self-deprecation, you’ll soon realise what sort of party you’re at.
No language or other barriers, with lyrics in English, French and Dutch. And above all: catchy songs, a punky attitude, and genres that blow in every direction. From drum & brass and accordion dub to Belgian ska and beyond.
