Vagos Kwintet presents their album “Nami.” Casimir Ostyn, the driving force behind the group, wrote a harmonious series of compositions for this album, drawing influences from world music, modern jazz, and classical music. ‘Nami’, meaning ‘wave’ in Japanese, symbolizes both the undulating movement through which sound and music propagate, and the sometimes unpredictable waves of life. The music focuses not only on individual skills but also on the interactivity, characteristic of jazz.
