There are several composers in Jaqâmaz, Juliette, Hussein and Joachim.

The 9 songs of this album are testimonies of the inner worlds through

which the five musicians navigate. In this journey it is as if each

composer invited the others to be flown to a different planet, by

bringing his own colors, his own vision, delicate, strange, enthusiastic,

surprised, playful... Each artist expresses himself through written music

as well as improvisation. These two approach to music allow to sketch

different atmospheres and sceneries. From large and deserted

landscapes to dense forests full of life, yet we can’t forget our initial

environment: the urban world .

Jaqâmaz's debut album "Terre Intime,

in Brussels and mixed by Alain Steenhoudt. It is now available on all
