Marjan Van Rompay

Marjan Van Rompay (°1988) has one of the most popular music styles in the music school of Lier. Haar liefde voor jazz bracht haar naar het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag, waar ze les kreeg van der meer John Ruocco, Toon Roos, Rolf Delfos en Hein Van de Geyn. The bachelor's degree is completed by studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen by Ben Sluijs and Kurt Van Herck, in 2018 by a master-na-master at the Gentse KASK by Bart Defoort.

Met by MVR Group was launched in 2012 with its debut album Silhouette uit, released by Comfort, Solace, Peace in 2015. We will see new artists horizons in verschillende projects in ensembles. Zo verscheen Zandland (2020) features a new band, and Circles (2023) features Wolf. In 2025, the new album ON Track was released - originally from MVR Group - with a new music stem from its central location.
