Ten years on, saxophonist Marjan Van Rompay returns with a new quartet album: On Track. Together with her partner, bassist Janos Bruneel, she wrote personal compositions that reflect her musical journey and her passion for long-distance running.

Live, the music is given even more room to breathe. With pianist Ewout Pierreux, bassist Janos Bruneel and drummer Toon Van Dionant, Van Rompay performs lyrical, warm and soulful jazz with plenty of space for improvisation.

Expect authentic, colourful and accessible jazz, carried by a singing saxophone sound and a rhythm section that breathes, listens and shines.

Before and after the concert, and during the interval, the DJs from Jazz Heks Sound System will spin the finest records from their collection at culture café de Fwajee.
