Jazz 9 returns to Caféo! For this reunion, they have invited Orion trio. Pauline Leblond and Alexandre Tripodi delight in blending the sounds and timbres of their various instruments across a diverse repertoire, ranging from Brazilian music to bop, swing, and original compositions. You can expect a few standards, of course, but also some lesser-known gems gathered during their travels and numerous musical adventures! The absence of a harmonic instrument leaves the field wide open for melodic and complicit interplay, comfortably supported by the solid basslines and groove of Boris Schmidt—a key bassist on the Belgian and European jazz scene.
