BAM! explores the possibilities of a trio that blends the sounds of Maxime Moyaerts’ Hammond organ with Bastien Jeunieaux’s guitar and Arnaud Cabay’s drums.
Their music is a subtle mix of contemporary jazz and 1960s jazz, reminiscent of the great trios that shaped jazz history, such as Jimmy Smith with Kenny Burrell or Larry Young with Grant Green. Their performance at Jazz au Broukay in 2022 left a lasting impression on festivalgoers, so it was only natural for us to invite them back to present their second recording, Keep it Simple.
Now regulars on the Jazz Tours of Les Lundis d’Hortense, in jazz clubs, and at renowned festivals, this soul-jazz trio with a strong stage presence will be the perfect act to kick off the festivities on Friday, August 22, 2025. Don’t miss their performance!
