Manolo Cabras Quartet

As adventurous as it may be, the Manolo Cabras Quartet is composed of four unique musicians who share their roots in traditional jazz.

Jean Paul Estiévenart, Nicola Andrioli and Marek Patrman are undoubtedly among the best on the current Belgian jazz scene.

In Cabras' compositions, they are invited to engage in continuous exploration within a bold structure where tradition is never far away, but where it is joyfully questioned and explored.

This group resonates strongly with jazz while remaining surprisingly fresh.

It recalls Miles, Coltrane or Ornette in its concept of swing, while revealing a wide spectrum of colours through Manolo Cabras' expressive melodies.
