'WERF Records invites', a new concert series at KAAP

Since last week, KAAP and the WERF label have been launching a series of concerts 'WERF Records invites' to welcome artists from the label and musicians from around the world.

The first in this series took place on 6 February with a regular at De Werf: drummer Stéphane Galland, who presented his latest project, Kanda, accompanied by two promising young jazz musicians, Lúcia Pires and Louise Van den Heuvel.

Each evening begins with a brief conversation between our host, Julie Mosar, and the artist, who reveal the story behind their music. This is followed by a concert, and the evening ends in the foyer: the ideal place to chat, discover new talent or have a drink together.

De Werf will once again become the vibrant heart of KAAP in Bruges: a meeting place, a creative hub for artists and a starting point for musical adventures.
