Pauline Leblond Double Quartet Invites

The Pauline Leblond Double Quartet is a family of eight musicians who bridge the gap between jazz and baroque music. It is a subtle blend of a jazz quartet and a string quartet, which sometimes clash and sometimes merge. For several years now, they have been playing original compositions by trumpeter Pauline Leblond. Her vision and the contrasting timbres brought by the band evoke dreamlike, even cinematic images.

For her Carte Blanche at the Brosella festival, Pauline Leblond brought together the Pauline Leblond Double Quartet, enriched by an exceptional brass section, Mathieu Najean and Timothé le Maire, to create a new repertoire presented under the name “Pauline Leblond Double Quartet invites Friends.”

While the album “Suites de Danses,” released in February 2020, is a record that introduces the Pauline Leblond Double Quartet, this one presents the sequel, the continuation of a musical quest always in search of renewal.

Take part in this journey, join the dance, and come experience this beautiful epic!
