The virtual Web Big Band becomes reality for four days at the “Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel” and the Jazz Station!
The Web Big Band is an orchestra created by Pierre Drevet during confinement (already 4 years ago) with the idea of putting music online for Big Band with scrolling scores.
The concept is to form an orchestra, for the moment made up only of French and Belgian musicians where each musician records their score individually and once put together, it gives the sound of a Jazz Big Band.
The experiment is still ongoing; it is regularly enriched by compositions and arrangements by Pierre Drevet.
Today, several projects are adapted in schools to discover this music live.
This time, it is the KCB Big Band which will bring Pierre's music to life during a live concert at the Jazz Station.
