Fabrice Alleman Quartet

From the beginning, this quartet has met with an enthousiastic response from the public and the critics. They played a.o. at the '97 "Jazz à Liège" Festival, where they received the "Nicolas Dor Prize", an award that goes to the best performance of a Belgian band during the festival.
Furthermore, the group had been selected by the RTBF radio to be recorded live in an exchange of radio programs for the CRPLF (Communauté des Radios Publiques de Langue Française), in which the public radio stations of France, Switserland and Canada participate.
Other appearances include : Festival des Lundis d'Hortense (Brussels), "Jazz à Liège" Festival, Brussels Jazz Marathon, Gaume Jazz Festival, Gouvy Jazz festival, Nam'n Jazz festival, opening for Michel Petrucciani at the Audi Jazz festival, Saint-Louis festival (Senegal), Alençon, "Festival Joly Jazz" and numerous concerts.

In 2001, the band appeared in Paris during the festival "Le Jazz perd le Nord".

In 2005, the band did the Lundis d'Hortense jazz tour and the Jazzlab series tour with great success.

The group swings, has a great impact on the audience, and presents a repertoire that combines original compositions with new renditions of well known standards.

Two acclaimed CDs were published by this very homogenuous band : "Loop the loop" (Igloo) and "Sides of Life" (Lyrae).

In June 2006, the quartet made a successful appearance with US trumpet player Randy Brecker during the "Jazz à Liège Festival" (TV recording).

The quartet appeared in Poland during the "Warsaw Summer Jazz Days 2006".
