Evenings in support of SOS MEDITERRANEE
Once again this year, the cultural sector is rallying behind SOS MEDITERRANEE.
Le Marni, in collaboration with the Vendôme cinema, is organising two cultural and solidarity evenings to support this association.
SOS MEDITERRANEE is a European sea rescue association created in 2015 on the initiative of European citizens outraged by the repeated shipwrecks in the Mediterranean.
On Friday 16 January , at the Vendôme cinema, the evening will begin with the opening of the exhibition Résonances, a selection of photographs by the HUMA Collective. At 8pm, there will be a screening of the documentary ‘Save our Souls’ by J-B Bonnet.
On Saturday 17 January , from 5.30pm, a round table discussion will be held, moderated by journalist Marie Michels, on the challenges of sea rescue and citizen engagement.
Starting at 7:30 p.m., the SOS Sessions #3 Concert will take place, with fifteen artists coming together for four exceptional sets: Ricercar Consort - Bernard Foccroulle, Philippe Pierlot - Kris Defoort Trio - Adja Fassa Trio - Robin Verheyen Trio.
Proceeds from these two evenings will be donated to SOS MEDITERRANEE. It is also possible to support the association without attending the event by purchasing solidarity tickets : every donation counts!
