Call for artists for Dinant jazz Festival - Concours Cera jeunes talents

 Since 2008, the Dinant Jazz Festival has been organising a competition for young jazz groups.

For the 2024 edition, the jury will select four groups to perform on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July 2024 on a stage in the Parc St Georges.

To take part, you must

• At least two members of the group must live in Belgium.
• The age of each musician in the group must not exceed 30 (thirty) years.
• The group must not have released a label recording before the date of the competition.
• Level of study is not taken into account as a condition of participation. Self-taught musicians have the same chances as graduates.
• Bands that have entered the competition in previous years may enter again, with the exception of the winner.

The prizes are as follows

• For the winner :
  •  A prize of 1000 euros
  • Two days' recording time at the Green Field studio with Pierre Bartholomé.
  • An invitation to open the 2024 Festival on the main stage.
  •  Invited to perform in concert at the future Jazz Club. 
• For the second :
  • Invited to perform in concert at the future jazz club.
• For the best soloist:
  • a €500 "Best Soloist" prize from the youth competition -
