LEMINISTÈRE

LEMINISTÈRE is a quintet drawing inspiration from a bold fusion of genres, with a strong affinity for electronic sounds, jazz, and progressive rock. Each member brings their own musical sensibility, creating a unique alchemy.

Traditional jazz instruments coexist with electronic elements that enrich and expand their sonic palette. This singular fusion allows the group to craft complex compositions, where the syncopated rhythms of jazz blend with the repetitive, hypnotic loops of electronic music, while harmonic progressions evoke the golden age of progressive music.

Since 2021, the project has been in residence at Volta, allowing it to develop and come to life on the Brussels stage. The group has benefited from the support of Brussels Jazz Alert, which enabled them to perform at the Brussels Jazz Weekend 2024. Their track De l’amour will also be featured in the compilation Lefto Presents Jazz Cats Volume 3, released by Sdban Records.

On October 3, 2025, LEMINISTÈRE will release the first single from their third EP, LOS.E. This work highlights three distinct facets of the group’s musical identity, combining cinematic atmospheres, electronic sounds inspired by the club scene, and improvisation and composition deeply rooted in jazz.

LEMINISTÈRE’s music reflects the contrast between a world shaped by artificial intelligence, machines, war, and routine, and another shaped by ephemeral pleasures and the false comforts of postmodern Western life.
