A fun activity specially designed for children to discover jazz while having fun!
Throughout the workshop, children explore the basics of jazz in a simple and interactive way: they learn to recognize and feel swing and binary rhythms, play with their voice through scat (by inventing funny and rhythmic sounds), and discover a small song adapted to their age.
They are also invited to move and participate actively: body percussion (tapping rhythms with the body), coordination games, and small dances with sticks to experience music in a different way.
Led by Alain Delbrasine, in partnership with Jeunesses Musicales, this workshop offers a joyful and dynamic moment where children develop their sense of rhythm, listening skills, and creativity while having fun together! 🎶
Recommended age group: from 8 to 10 years old.
