Anke Ludwig (born 2003) is a Belgian jazz singer and composer trained at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. As a child, she discovered a love for the piano and everything that makes a sound at the age of four. After taking music theory and classical piano lessons at local academies, she eventually went to Kunsthumaniora Brussels, where she received her first singing lessons. Under the wing of Sarah Klenes and Lennert Baerts, Anke is working on her own repertoire, which ranges from singer-songwriter to jazz and folk.
She is active in projects such as Blue Room and Anke Ludwig Trio. For this occasion, she is joined by Wout Gooris (Vliegwerk, Bert Joris ft Sam Joris Octet, FESTi), Ceres Lauwers (Chimaera, Canens Quartet), Nanou Van De Sande (Nanou Van De Sande Quartet) and Simon Pas (Simon Pas Quintet, Aghogho). They perform their own songs alongside those of their heroes, such as Joni Mitchell, Bert Joris, Ambrose Akinmusire, and others.
