With his acoustic group, the Jan Harbeck Quartet, Jan Harbeck recorded the jungle-drum jazz classic Sing, Sing, Sing on the album Copenhagen Nocturne. This piece inspired him to create a new group dedicated to exploring this particular sound and expression.
