The "Mapping Roots" band will present the repertoire from their latest album, "First Daylight", released in February of this year (2022). The tracks you'll hear are original compositions by Brussels-based bassist Michel Vrydag. This repertoire brings together all kinds of influences: a jazz universe and rhythms inspired by traditional music from several continents. Joining him to present this music are Antwerp pianist Bram Weijters and Dutch drummer Daniel Jonkers. The three of them will try to answer the following question with their notes: "Play me a piece that tells me where you come from.
