On 13 December, the Liège-based independent label brought its artists together for an intimate and immersive celebration, marked by the exceptional installation of L-Acoustics' L-ISA Hyperreal Sound system in the Salle Philharmonique de Liège. Five years after its creation in a unique location in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, Flak Records has established itself as a singular voice in the independent music scene. Founded by Fabrice Lamproye, since 2020 the label has been giving a voice to artists who tell stories... without words. It features music at the crossroads of jazz, classical, folk and world music with Jean-Christophe Renault, Véronique Gillet, OOOTOKO, Robin Verheyen Trio, Johan Dupont Trio and, most recently, Wajdi RIahi Trio; but also electro-organic music tinged with jazz or classical with The Brums, VAAGUE and KOWARI.
