Concert Jazz&More: Maritsa NEY/Nicolas FOURRÉ/Siavash YAZDANIFAR

For this Jazz&More session, we invite you to a truly unique creation, a one-off concert that is sure to leave a lasting impression. This unusual project brings together three personalities from very different musical backgrounds, each renowned in their own field. Maritsa Ney began playing the violin at the age of three. She studied violin, chamber music and improvisation, graduating from the Conservatoire de Liège with high honours. Maritsa was a principal violinist at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie for 18 years and now pursues projects that are close to her heart. Siavash Yazdanifar discovered music at the age of five in Iran. He has played with this music all his life, or as he says: perhaps it is the music that plays with him. Siavash excels in traditional Iranian, Turkish and African percussion. Nicolas Fourré will bring his psychedelic touch, orchestrated by the Aboriginal instrument that has punctuated his musical life for some thirty years, the didgeridoo. An ethnic journey that is sure to fill you with emotion – be curious about a musical experience that is unique in its kind!
