Thibault Dille " DAQUI " is a project that holds out the hope of interculturality, drawing on its resolutely Belgian roots to compose a musical mix that reflects the cosmopolitan city of Brussels.
" Daqui " means "from here" in Portuguese, which is a good way to anchor the music made and performed "here" in Belgium, nourished by influences and sounds "from elsewhere".
This exciting project is embodied by a trio of virtuosos: Thibault Dille (accordion, melowtone), Pierre Gillet (7-string guitar) and Marcos Della Rocha (percussion). The three talented friends share an affinity for the rhythms of Brazilian and South American music.
