Joe Armon-Jones is a London-based keyboardist, composer, and producer known for his fluid, bold style blending jazz, dub, hip-hop, funk, and soul. A central figure in the UK’s underground scene and a member of the Mercury Prize-winning Ezra Collective, he has also gained acclaim for his solo work, notably the album Turn to Clear View, named by TIME Magazine as one of the “10 Best Albums of 2019.” Founder of Aquarii Records, he champions a collaborative spirit through projects with Tony Allen, Nubya Garcia, Obongjayar, Greentea Peng, Mala, and many others—offering a collective, open, and forward-thinking vision of jazz.
