In 2023, Milan Verbist was selected to be part of 'De Twintigers', a selection of ten young, promising musicians, made by Radio Klara. For his concert in the Lokerse Jazzklub, Verbist chooses a piano trio in which he surrounds himself with a rhythm section consisting of Toon Rumen on double bass and the Dutch drummer Jens Meijer. Their repertoire consists of both their own compositions and songs by musicians who inspire them.
