On the occasion of his visit to Fleurus for his solo concert Fleurus Culture on October 5 and Fast Forward are pleased to offer you a master class by Michel Hatzigiourgiou.

Michel Hatzigeorgiou born in Charleroi to Greek parents.

In 1983, he met Toots Thielemans with whom he played for more than 20 years. That same year, he also collaborated with the greatest genius of the electric bass, Jaco Pastorius. Member of AKA MOON, one of the most fruitful groups of the recent Belgian Jazz & Rock scene since 1992. They have recorded more than 25 albums to date. In recent years, Michel has collaborated with different artists such as: Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Fabrizio Cassol and Alain Platel, Daan, Kris Dane, David Linx, Sinister Sister… He released his own album “La Basse d’Orphée” in 2015.

Michel Hatzigeorgiou gives us the pleasure of responding to the “typical/atypical meeting” that Fleurus Culture and the Ferme de Martinrou asked him.
