STUK's commitment is first and foremost to art, to artists and to the public. STUK's open-mindedness is reflected in the diverse voices in our programme, the stories they tell, the themes we choose, the lectures we organise, and the spaces we create. Like our artists and our audience, we are hesitant and searching in the world. STUK's focus is on the implicit as far as its own voice is concerned. The explicit is optional, the implicit a necessity.

In the coming years, STUK will continue to build an arts centre of the future. We are strengthening the support of individual artists by expanding our residency activities and business support. Polyphony is a guiding principle in our programming and forms a bridge to new audiences. Diversity and inclusion, sustainability, fair practice and fair pay are shared values and objectives throughout our operations.
