Ben Faes graduated in 2002 for double bass with Dhr. L. Leire at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Bass player and composer for jazz, classical, tango and contemporary acts : De Groote-Faes Duo, Orquesta Tanguedia, Tijgers van Eufraat, and TREsBASSE, a trio of double basses. Tours in Belgium and abroad. Works on a regular basis with high profile European classical orchestras such as Filharmonisch Orkest van Vlaanderen, het Rotterdams Filharmonisch Orkest, Anima Eterna, performing all over Europe. Has been performing and recording with Belgian top acts in the pop, folk, blues circuit : Raymond van het Groenewoud, Fernando Lameirinhas, Kommil Foo, Roland van Campenhout…
