Interview: Line Daenen on “Jazz and Curious”

Jazz and Curious meets the artists who make up the Jazz Tour.

Line Daenen is a musician with a varied background. In 2016, she founded the group La Malanga, with which she has performed at festivals such as Esperenzah, Fiesta Latina, and Jam in Jette. In 2017, she created Synapses with Cristophe Grout, exploring an experimental sound language based on the flute and sound structures. Since 2022, she has also been developing L'Odyssée du schmilblick, in collaboration with a school for neuro-atypical children. In 2023, she joined Trio Misturado alongside Renato Martins and Benoît Minon, combining compositions, Latin and Brazilian music and jazz influences, while continuing her musical research and stage collaborations.

From February 19 to March 18, 2026, Line Daenen will be touring with Trio Misturado.
