LA HULPE en scène 2026

A colorful character eager to enchant children with the classical, jazz, playful, or unusual melodies in his repertoire, Monsieur Saxo captivates his audience with the wonderfully expressive instrument that is the saxophone. Accompanied by his pianist partner, "Monsieur Berlioz", he presents a whimsical 19th-century atmosphere and glides between storytelling, comedy, and music! 
Through dialogues and musical choices, he explores a variety of themes: inventors, the 19th century, classical music, jazz and its symbolism, rock… A journey off the beaten path, this project is an ode to the saxophone, from Ravel's Boléro to the music of Sidney Bechet. It revisits some of the greatest saxophone classics and rediscovers the life of a strong-willed but endearing innovator… Monsieur Saxo!
