3/4 Peace

3/4 Peace is a chamber trio made up of Belgian saxophonist Ben Sluijs, Belgian-Peruvian pianist Christian Mendoza and French double bassist Brice Soniano. With improvisations and original compositions, their musical approach integrates jazz and classical music, transcending technical skills and creating a rich, tasteful sound that almost resembles a gastronomic experience. They play like three soul mates who come together to create a warm and intimate musical atmosphere. Their synergy on stage establishes a deep sense of community with the audience, where the 3 musicians share stories that are both personal and collective. To describe the band, Ben Sluijs quotes Sting as saying: ‘playing music is projecting love’, and with their music, they delve into the essence of who they are, and share it with all their struggles and joys.
