Reverent Juke

Reverent Juke

Born in 2015 from the collaboration between a musician and a lindy hop dancer, "Reverent Juke" has its roots in the golden age of swing.

Driven by an explosive rhythm and enhanced by a swinging brass section, the orchestra performs and revisits gems from Jelly Roll Morton to Chick Webb, Fletcher Henderson, Buddy Johnson, and Hearls Hines.

Renowned for setting the stage ablaze at each of its performances throughout Europe, to the rhythm of its breathtaking arrangements, Reverent Juke will have you swinging and moving like never before!

The orchestra is led by the "fearsome swing" of Tom Lambrecht on drums, combined with the "bounce" of double bassist/vocalist Andrew Bolton and the "wild stride" of Julien Gillain on piano. The arrangements are written by Mathieu Najean on tenor saxophone, accompanied by Pauline Leblond on trumpet and Martin Bolton on clarinet.
