At the beginning of the 1950s, Gerry Mulligan formed, with the help of Chet Baker, a group considered to be one of the most important, innovative and original groups in the history of jazz.
The group revisits and updates the repertoire, compositions, spirit and arrangements of Mulligan's legendary pianoless quartet, spearhead of the Jazz Cool era. Reunion Quartet plays music where swing is omnipresent and where the combined sounds of the trumpet and baritone saxophone blend perfectly in subtle and improvised countersongs.
