Always in search of new sounds, Daniel Stokart offers us a very personal musical universe made up of an abundance of sounds produced by ocarinas, bass flutes, bass clarinets, tenor saxophones and many other sound objects that accompany the lyrical flights of the soprano saxophone. Listening to this multitrack recording evokes trips to other shores or mysterious and unknown forests: it is green, blue, aerial, visual, moving and intimate music, which can lead to euphoria as well as to meditation.

Dreamlike and intimate, the music of this album is beguiling. Each composition, replete with internal resonance, is both singular and universal. Through exploratory research Alex Beaurain has conceived a truly organic body of work which he shares with us in "Corps flottants".

Solos is the first solo project of Tom Bourgeois. The repertoire is made of small pieces, on the border of composition and improvisation. The musical universe is inspired by jazz, contemporary music and improvisation. Each song was created with a single instrument in mind, even if the bass clarinet might join the saxophone in some of the pieces.
